My new arrivals at Linen and Letters

Hi again from Linen & Letters. For those who have got to know me over the years, you’ll know that while running my business I’ve been raising my family. As my four children are now old enough to be having their own life adventures, it’s time for me!

This last year I have update my machines and purchased a new embroidery and a new sewing machine so I can grow Linen and Letters and create even more gorgeous intricate needlework for your linens. They are both bigger and better.  They have given me a real sense of positivity with a flourish of creativity! Can you tell, I’m super excited?  Watch this space for new designs...

The change of the season also brings joy; it’s time for nature’s beauty to be repainted with a more sophisticated colour palette, the cooler weather offers a welcome relief and there’s a lot to celebrate.

When I lived in France the vignerons would be busy harvesting grapes at this time of the year. I’d often get my car stuck behind a slow-moving tractor watching the delicious fruit falling from its sides. The smell in the air was heavenly. L’automne is a time for the French to celebrate vendange (the grape harvest), a bit like Thanksgiving but with a lot less turkey and heaps more wine.

And for those looking for the perfect finishing touch to their Thanksgiving decor another limited edition and this time a linen hemstitched towel which I have created with its delicate ‘cutwork’ pumpkin embroidery. Ideal for the bathroom or kitchen.

And finally to greet all your guests, I've created this sheer ivory linen curtain panel ideal for the front door.  It will welcomes guests and has a pumpkin inspired monogram created with autumn rust greens and spiced oranges of the season. Just let me know the three letters you'd like, and I’ll take it from there.

That's all from me for now,
Take care everyone,
Jacq x
